i got a new toy today...
a spanking brand new LCD tv!!!
its an early birthday present from my parents, this is the 2nd tv they bought. the first was a normal cathode ray tube model, but since i was in camp most of the time, they 'stole' my tv and put it in their room. haha
i guess everything happens for a reason eh?

i started my first day
of work today!!!
and so the story goes....
headed down to OCBC centre at raffles place to meet a woman named aileen for my first day at work. i headed up to the 40th floor(40th floor leh! you got go so high before anot?) and entered the office. i was supposed to meet her at 9am and i was early, so i sat down in the lounge area waiting for 9am to come.
9am came, i walked over to the receptionist and asked for Aileen.
"I'm Aileen" she replied "are you Garrie? i've been waiting for you"
*groan*
she hands me some form to sign and then dispatches me to a bugis branch.....
*double groan*
anyway, once i arrived at my branch and got my papers sorted out i started work.
or rather tried to.
since my network account wasn't ready yet i technically couldn't do anything.
but some of my work mates taught me a few things here and there and allowed me to try typing documents.
one thing though about every place you go.
you are bound to meet weird people.
this lady was pretty nice at first.
but when she got caught up in work, she started getting really pissed at everyone.
do you know of the type of person, who complains and whines about everything, and they actually think they have been wronged, and they make you think that way too,
but in the end, everyone else is like 'comeon lady, shut the hell up"
but nobody says anything, everyone she talks with just nods and say things like, 'aiyah, never mind la'
yes......THAT type!
work's crap. squeezing in the train isn't fun either.
i'm experiencing what i've always hated: the dull life of a drone worker in Singapore
it can't get any better than that.....
