Went to watch SSO today. They played Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto with pianist Dmitri Alexeev. Overall was not bad. Laurence Gargen sounded good on trumpet. The jap oboe player sounder nice too. Still, I think the recording done by Berlin Philharmonic was the best that I've heard. It was conducted by Claudio Abbado and the pianist was L. Zilberstein. Savant at 10/08/2004 11:56:00 pm ;
