no.... this blog isn't dead yet. haha i've been away for a month in thailand. for something we army boys(yes boys, not men) call ATEC. ATEC, or Army Training Evaluation Center, is a sort of exam for every operational unit in the Singapore army. it tests the units' commanders and men for their military knowhow and skills. ATEC evaluates our performance and gives us a REDCON(readiness condition) rating. REDCON 1 being the best, followed by 2A,2B, and 3 being a lousy pass, and 4 meaning utter failure. my unit achieved redcon 2A high. but seriously it means nothing to me. now that i'm back home, the only thing that matters is my ORD date, and preparations for work and studies. army is finally taking a back seat in my life. for the past 2 years it has been constantly taking away time that can be used more productively. i can finally put my hands up in the air and shout, ORD LOH!!!
