NIESB in concert, 10th February 2007, SCHThis has got to be one the most demanding repetoires i have ever played for a concert. Great gate at Kiev, shostakovich's symphony no. 5 finale, russlan lyudmilla, etc etc. I was practically blowing my brains out. Anyway, thank you all who made it possible, and all who came. I learnt something today. If you have to play a solo, make sure you have nothing distracting you and just play the music. I made a mistake today because i was distracted... but the funny thing was, i didn't really make a mistake or press the wrong valves... I merely pressed what my brain told me to. Focus is absolute...
